【摘要】:Thisdocumentspecifiesatestmethodandtheminimumrequirementsformycobactericidal(ortuberculocidal)activityofchemicaldisinfectantproductsthatformahomogeneous,physicallystablepreparationwhendilutedwithhardwater-orinthecaseofready-to-useproducts-withwater.Productscanonlybetestedataconcentrationof80%orlessassomedilutionisalwaysproducedbyaddingthetestorganismsandinterferingsubstance.ThisdocumentappliestoproductsthatareusedinthemedicalareaincludingthosethatarecoveredbytheEEC/93/42DirectiveonMedicalDevices.Thisdocumentappliestoareasandsituationswheredisinfectionismedicallyindicated.Suchindicationsoccurinpatientcare,forexample:inhospitals,incommunitymedicalfacilitiesandindentalinstitutions;inclinicsofschools,ofkindergartensandofnursinghomes;andmayoccurintheworkplaceandinthehome.Itmayalsoincludeservicessuchaslaundriesandkitchenssupplyingproductsdirectlyforthepatients.NOTE1Themethoddescribedisintendedtodeterminetheactivityofcommercialformulationsoractivesubstancesundertheconditionsinwhichtheyareused.NOTE2Thismethodcorrespondstoaphase2,step1test(seeAnnexE).
